King Duncan In Shakespeare's Macbeth

King Duncan seems to very good king, also very trustworthy. Also a very noble leader, and father figure. He likes Macbeth and thinks he’s a great fearless warrior. King Duncan is a great king, well respected by most. He is obviously not a very good judge of character because he trusts Macbeth. He liked Macbeth after he found out about how Macbeth slayed MacDonwald in battle. So the king decided that Macbeth be the new Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth is power hungry and evil and wants to kill the king to take his place on the throne. Macbeth is crazy and King Duncan is a respectable king who looks out for the commoners and can tell good from bad.
