In this day of age when a person pulls a muscle, has back pain, or develops a cough they run straight to the doctor for a cure all pill. Throughout time methods of treatment have developed and have become more complex; as a result, many patients receive pills and surgeries that may fix the problem but at the cost of a lifetime of pain. Qualifications
I am qualified to write this report for three reasons, (1) I have always had an interest in alternative medicine since I graduated high school, (2) I work in an acupuncture office and I am also an active patient at my place of work, and (3) by the end of this term I will have earned an Associate of Science (AS) and by next summer I plan to attend an acupuncture college in Portland.
