Regarding out-group teams, this would be Cashiers, and the L (leader) would simple oversee department, watching and waiting to a light to flash signaling help is needed. There is a low relationship between the leader and followers because there is very little interaction and support seen from the followers. That is not the same for in group, which I would label as the sale floor. Where the leaders would be working with the followers to complete tasks and reach goals.
