I believe Kenny’s description about unions is not accurate. In the article, their longtime competitor Keith voted in a union and their employees are happy, however, Kenny said to Norton that there is no need to be worry about having a union in the company. I do not agree with Kenny. Like I said before, unions are created in order to protect employees’ rights and improve their working conditions. In other words, labor unions are the collective voice of employees in order to negotiate with employers.

Usually with labor unions and their negotiations, employees can get better employee benefits packages and higher wages. Employees are like customers in a business, if the employer meet employees needs then, employees will be satisfy and they will be willing to work harder for the company, for you.
Another important point about labor union is that it leads to less turnover. Employees that want to be part of a labor union need to meet certain requirements in order to not lose their status or position in the organization. For example, employee will not leave their job as often. 2. The union activities from Norton’s Texas job were different. According to Norton, they shoveled frozen peas into boxcars, and filed grease bandages as a form of paying dues.
