So many people came with their youngsters giggling and staring at us as they slowly glided by on their wave runners. Then as soon as we would hit the dry,sandy beach we would have someone asking if they could get a picture with the horses and telling us, “this just amazing that your horses will do this!” Oh and of course the horses knew it was photo time and their ears would be perked forward as if they were smiling just as big as we all were. The best part of getting to meet all the people were those who told us about how they did the exact same thing we were doing when they could still swing up in the saddle. I could see the sparkle in their eye that made it seem as if we had brought that moment back to life for them for a mere few seconds as they got to watch us meandered through the water. Not only was the ride memorable, but the people made it even more of a memorable event. Even though my riding adventure doesn't stop there, that was where in my mind, the part of that trip that I will never forget. The more places I go with my trusty steeds, the more people I get to meet and with all these trips comes the reward of the bond with my horses.
