The leader has the opportunity to put team players together and encourage the best decision making process and the best possible outcomes for the business. With the covenant relationship in heart and mind, caring for and guiding team members is not only the right thing to do, it is good for business outcomes (Fischer, 2009). In this discussion I will address group decision making and the importance of empowering team members.
Building a Team
It is important to know team members backgrounds and skillsets, as well as, areas they need support in. Ask yourself critical questions before you state the assignment. Is this the right group for the task at hand?

The idea of empowerment gives permission to team members to be open to truth and do their best with decision making processes. This awareness and approach will benefit employees and business outcomes.
