hghghghghghghghgh Hobbes is simply arguing that whole religions have the opportunity to be created purely based on the fact the people are ignorant to what is a dream and what is reality. hghghghghghghghgh The main point that I found in this chapter is the danger of ignorance and lack of reason that human thought can create. Along with this, the danger that judgement upon personal experience can create due to it creating a warped view of what reality is. This is clearly shown by the amount of time that Hobbes spends talking about this problem that arises with imagination and dreaming. For Hobbes, since everything is decided by power the more power a person has the better off they are. This creates a community where people are only seen as tools of power. People are not treated as people, they are treated as means to an end that benefits a selfish goal. This type of society that Hobbes argues for is not one that tries to create a greater good but only a selfish good.
