George Gordon Byron also known as Lord Byron was an English poet who participated in the romanticism literary movement. The title “When The Two Parted” indicates to the readers that this story is about two individuals that are no longer together. As the reader we do not know why these two are not together, as of now all we know is that this is a painful separation. Bryon stresses that he knew he would undergo the suffering of love, but did nothing to avoid it. Undoubtably, the separation of the lovers left one another with deep feelings of sadness, as Byron expresses how the lovers felt “sorrow to this”(8) clarifying their emotions.
