Macadamia Nut Lab

In this experiment, I found the Macadamia nut to provide the most energy per gram of nut. I found this by dividing the calories released by the mass of the nut. When I did this calculation for the peanut I found the average values for energy released to be 1.685Cal/g. When I did these calculations for the Macadamia, I found the average to be 2.62Cal/g. The Macadamia nut also provided a higher percentage burned than the peanut did, the Macadamia nut was 70% burned while the peanut burned 50%. Trial 1 and 2 data’s for both nuts were consistent and close in range.
Thee sources of error for this experiment could include, the first was not being able to perform the experiment ourselves. The next source of error can include that oil would drip
