Macbeth Tragic Hero Research Paper

Macbeth a tragic hero or just a madman. from early on in the story we knew of Macbeth as a veteran of a war going on in Scotland. to me Macbeth is not a hero. he just someone recognized and praised for His victories in the war. so he’s no hero just circumstances of war made him honorable. but to his men and comrades, he is a hero. Now what made Macbeth a tragic hero was the lust for power that the 3 witches stirred inside of him. they revealed macbeth's true desire for power. which starts and kicks off the book.

his wife , Lady Macbeth. she manipulated macbeth's ego and pride into getting what she wanted, fame , power, glory. Once macbeth told her about what the witches had told him had come to pass * him becoming thane of another reigon* , Lady Macbeth poked at his ego , saying that he must go after the power of the throne before anyone else gets a chance, or is he no man at all. Consequently this pushed him into killing his cousin , the king. but not before his conscience tried to tell him to stop with a bloody dagger and hands stained with unwashable blood. subsequently Lady Macbeth jabbed his pride once more , by saying that a true man would not coward out of his word. now full of pride and lust for power, Macbeth kills the king, and starts to lose his …show more content…
this would later on show his peers that all is not right in the Macbeth kingdom. to begin with , Macbeth's own guilt manifests itself into his chair as Banquo. Macbeth starts to yell at the ghost , while the party goers just watch , baffled at what's happening, has Macbeth gone mad? but Lady macbeth tries to reassure the guest and say he is ill at the moment and to just leave. Macbeth becomes paranoid . he seeks out the witches to know his full future. they fool Macbeth and use his naive character for kicks. A baby who states that no man born of women can kill him. his death comes when the forest walks to his castle, and a severd head.one more vision that still haunts him, a image of banquo’s descendants being king. Macbeth becomes most arrogant , seeing as no child born of a women can kill him and a forest can't walk he has nothing to fear. additionally they warn him of Macduff .
