Mark Fischbach A Hero Essay

For instance, heroes need to be reliable...otherwise, who is going to be there in someone else’s time of need? In addition, heroes also need to be respectful and responsible. They need to be respectful to the people around them, their opinions, problems and thoughts. Being responsible ties to being reliable, but it also means that heroes need to accept the consequences of their actions. Heroes need to be responsible enough to stand up for others and fight for what they believe in. For example, Mark Fischbach. He has always given others a clear voice to listen to, and constantly encouraging others. “Even if the vast numbers make you feel insignificant, just know that even one person can move mountains. Each and every one of you can be the start of something incredible” Mark Fischbach states. However, Mark is not the only person who is considered a hero in this way. For example, Sean McLoughlin is a very similar YouTube “star”. He has done almost the exact thing Mark has done for the past few years. He has helped millions through depression, and given them yet another voice to soothe them and give them a clear voice to listen to. “I hope I can be as a voice, as a friend while playing video games for you. If you feel depressed or lonely, or anything like that. Jack is here” he states during on of his videos. He has been dedicated to helping fans all over the world and as a result, has climbed through the ranks of YouTube. Another example of a hero, in my opinion, would be my grandmother. I have never thought of a hero being just a regular person with a talent and a kind heart until I heard of Tyler Joseph from the band Twenty One Pilots. Whenever you have to make a choice, he says there will always be the easy route. That is the route that can give you what you want right away. But in the end, that’s the wrong choice. Most of the time, the right decision requires work.…

Based off of stereotypes, heroes are supposed to have ridiculous costumes and good looks, but in reality, heroes are supposed to be people that use the events around them, and their knowledge to complete their tasks. They are usually based off of appearances, and are not always viewed by the traits that make them fit into the title of a hero. A hero has characteristics of being honorable, being selfless when trying to protect others, and not acting fearful when everything around is against your favor. Heroes are people that are honorable/honored because their lives were sacrificed for the greater good. In an excerpt it says, “...Douglass, this former slave, this Negro beaten to his knees...visioning a world where none is lonely, none hunted...…

When people think of the word hero they might picture a superhero or someone with huge muscles and fantastical superpowers. But a hero can also be kind and caring. They should put others before themselves and other peoples’ needs in front of their own. To me, a true hero must be willing to sacrifice their own personal wants and cares in order to help make others happy. A true hero must be able to smile and be happy when others only see trouble and strife.…

When someone says “hero”, I don’t think of the stereotypical superman hero that is commonly recognized and associated with the word. I think of a normal, average person who goes out of their way to help or save someone in need. I take my parents as an example. They are ordinary people who help me and care for me, even though they don’t have any “superpowers”. They are kind, brave, and honest; three qualities that someone heroic or respected must have to be the way they are.…

Some people do not know that they are even someone’s hero. When a person has the power to stand strong and fight for what they believe in they too can be a hero. These are the type of people that give others hope and save lives each and every day. You do not have to have super powers to save someone, you do not have to be in a position or a career where the main goal is to save someone’s life such as a doctor, a policeman or a firefighter. Heroes can be everyday people, such as a teacher; who teaches kids the everyday essentials of life to grow and be a better person, a parent; who guides and raise their children and protect their children, and even a janitor or trash man; people that help keep the environment clean for our safety and…

They are born out of circumstances and rise to the occasion when their spirit can no longer coexist with the hypocrisy injustice to others.” However not everyone can be a hero.
