He writes his manifesto to show others the need to unite their country. His young Italy idea will only work if everyone agrees with it and works for it. Although, this movement was unsuccessful, Mazzini was able to show and influence the future revolution that would unite Italy. There were also arguments over what time of government would be best for Italy such as either a monarchy or papal authority, or a republic. Italy was eventually successful in uniting their country and became a strong nation under different monarchs and other rulers throughout their
