High school is no easy feat; especially when you miss the first month of school to eat abstract pizza and look at naked sculptures in Italy. Specifically, Michelangelo's statue of David. The first time that I had ever heard of David was in Sunday School. He was a kid with more bravery and willpower than anyone in Israel--even the king. For the Israelites, Goliath--standing at nine feet tall--was viewed as a frightening man that no one wanted to go up against. But in God’s perspective, no problem was too big or impossible to accomplish to those who believed in him. With this in mind, David took on the challenge with no special armor--just his slingshot and some pebbles-- and went on to defeat the giant.
