Miss Lynch Monologue

Sasha (Miss Lynch):
Sasha, you are super talented. Sometimes you shock me in the dressing room by saying something so teenager-ish, because you play Miss Lynch so well I forget you are not an actual 40 year old women! You do an amazing job on stage performing, and you are an amazing friend backstage. You are so relatable and a sweetheart, I find myself laughing every time I’m around you. Keep shining and making people laugh. I will miss your bright personality and I hope you never change.
Jenna Hebert Mary-Kate (Patty)
I admire how much you are unapologetically genuine. No one can stop you from being yourself, and I hope never ever does. Your laugh is contagious, and you have a great sense of humor. Your confidence shines and you are so secure in yourself, I can’t tell you have jealous I am of that. I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming years, and I hope you continue being amazing.
Jenna Hebert Patrick (Eugene)
Oh Patty. I don’t know how I can do this without crying

Now I have to be emotional. You have been an incredible actor and friend since kindergarten. Ever since we met, I knew you and I were meant to be friends. When you left Saint Mary’s in fifth grade, I thought it was the end of an error. I’m so glad it wasn’t. Re-becoming friends in high school was one of the best things that has ever happened to me, because it meant I got to keep such an incredible person in my life. You have supported me, kept me form making bad decisions, and supported me when I did them anyways. For that, I cant tell you how grateful I am. Everyone deserves a friend like you. Everyone deserves someone that they can cry in a car with, to eat ice cream with, to go from being tearfully emotional to yelling about a chicken sandwich sandwich. You are one of the only people I feel like I can be truly myself around. You push me to try new things, you push me out of my comfort zone, and you make me a better version of myself. For that, I cannot thank you

One day we were talking at lunch and a girl came up to us and started talking to us about herself and how discourteous her friends were to her, of course we told her that she could hang out with us. All three of us had the same class and became best friends quickly, after that I made some friends and I had the best school year of my life. The 6th grader that sat next to me was Destiny who, after 6th grade, went to Somerset but to this day we are still best friends. The girl who came up to us was Yesenia, who, after 6th grade, stayed being my best friend, all throughout middle school and was the only true friend I had all those years, she is still the best friend that I will ever have. I started that school year terrified, sad, and angry with my mom for making me move away from my friends, I’m fortuitous that I move or I wouldn't have met my two best friends that I consider family.…
