Most Responsible For Macbeth's Downfall

Wouldn't it be easy to just blame a person for your mistakes. In life this happens all of the time. Sometimes, however, when extreme events occur more than one person is to blame.Macbeth a play by William Shakespeare,recognizes this possibility and servers as an excellent example of how many characters helped contribute to Macbeth’s downfall. The character most responsible for Macbeth’s downfall is Lady Macbeth because she is very manipulative and she taunts her husband about his manhood.
Lady Macbeth is responsible because she taunts her husband about his manhood. Some people might say that Macbeth should be responsible for his actions. This is true but if it wasn’t for Lady Macbeth her husband wouldn’t of killed the king. As she taunts her husband “when you durst do it then you were a man” (Macbeth 1.7.56).

She uses her body to manipulative macbeth she says something like if you become king you’ll seem more appealing to me. She also calls him delicate and incapable of killing someone for power. “Your hand, your tongue. Look like th’ innocent flower.” (Macbeth 1.6.76-77). This shows us that lady macbeth is calling her husband weak and fragile just like a flower. If she had not taunted him and teased him about his willingness he would of not killed the king. William Shakespeare invites his viewers to remember that even a twisted character like Macbeth is not always entirely at for his own fault. Sometimes it might be true that people are responsible for their own actions, their choices are impacted by other people the encounter. In site of the temptations only to blame people who directly committed a crime, we must remember that other people might be theirs is two sides to a coin.
