Why My Mom Is My Hero

Heroes -people who are admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. At one point in our lives, we all experienced admiring someone, something, or somewhere. For instance, one hero that is making a significant impact in my life is my all-time amazing mother. As a hero, my mother possesses traits of a hard-worker, problem-solver, and a humble view of life. First and foremost, my mother is, appreciatively, an extremely hard-worker. As a single mother who takes care of her two children who do not deserve her, she works ten times harder than typical parents. Even if she is sick with a horrible cold or flu, and despite our comments for her to stay home, she forces herself to go to work to receive an income to take care of us. Yet when my mother comes home from her twelve-hour workday, she does not pass out on the couch from exhaustion. Instead, along with her two children, my mother cleans the house and prepares the food for dinner. Have you ever thought how about much work it takes to overcome obstacles throughout your life? In "Mother Tongue" Amy Tan knew how hard her mother tried to defend herself from other people, but in instances people said they did not understand what Amy's mother was saying. In the last seconds remaining, he swooped and saved the pretty girl from falling off the edge of the tallest building in the world. The masked figure accomplished this goal before rushing towards the destroyed urban city; he continued forward, fully aware, relentless, and unaffected. Though it sounds certainly cliched, this example is perceived as the generic example of a hero. Contrary to public perception, the definition of a hero is not explicitly some handsome or muscular male protagonist; a hero is someone who bravely and willingly does what is righteous and needed in the face of danger. Dictionary.com defines a hero as “a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model…

My biggest obstacle would be that I cannot spend much time with both of my parents due to their busy work schedules; it is as if I am living on my own.…
