My Spanish teacher had even asked me why I was in her college prep class, especially because I spoke Portuguese, a language very similar to Spanish. In recurrence of freshman year both my college prep teachers recommended I move up, and the only difference was that I took their advice in order to attain my dream. It was my dream of attending the United States Military Academy that spurred me to raise my class levels to the maximum allowed for every subject. I only wish that I had thought ahead of time and had more confidence in my ability. Another thing I truly regret in my life is my behavior during 7th grade. I first attended school in Toms River my 7th grade year. I had just moved from Howell. Everything was new, and I knew nobody here. I had made some new friends following the first couple of days; I was no longer shy. Not only did I talk, but I talked excessively. My friends and I would disrupt class, disregard the rules, and disrespect the teacher. To my parent’s extreme disappointment, my grades also declined with my behavior. My indifference to the rules had gone so far that a conference involving all my 7th grade teachers was
