I gather the three-point percentage and the players’ height from the NBA official website. I will use the information from the 2015-2016 season to come to my conclusion. I will only use players who have attempted more than 100 three point shots because not all player in the NBA constantly shoots three pointers. After I gather all my data I will change the height into inches to organize my data. I will also include a player count to show all the heights represented in my data. Then I will sum up each height and their three-point percentage thus I can assess the trend. I will proceed to organize my data into three different groups: less than 30%,30%-40% and greater than 40%. I will find the five number the five number summaries for each category and then analyze it. My plan is to create a scatter plot after I have obtained all my data and find a line that best fits the data. This will show the line that best represents my data in the scatter plot. Standard deviation will help me find the desperation of the data. Next, I will locate correlation coefficient in my data. Correlation coefficient will show the linear dependence of height and three-point percentage. All these tests will help me draw on the relationship between NBA players height and their three-point
