It has fifteen galleries and fifteen theatres. A couple of the memorable exhibits are the 9/11 exhibit and the Berlin Wall exhibit. It also traces the evolution of communication, including the birth of the radio to the present day technology. It also has classes that teach students the importance of the five freedoms in the first amendment. It hosts program also talking about the importance of the first amendment and have special guests on occasions to talk about it. The Newseum has many exhibits celebrating these rights. The Cox First Amendment Gallery is the exhibit that celebrates every right under the first Amendment. The Louder than Words exhibit is about how rock music relates to the five rights. It is an exhibit on how rock inspired speech against the government and inspired people to write things that they believed in, even if it criticized the government.
