Evidence based practice (EBP) is the conscientious use of current best evidence in making decisions about patient care (Sackett, Straus, Richardson, Rosenberg, & Haynes, 2000). In order to be leader in the nursing field, one needs to have the skills to research or to analyze data. It is pertinent in the ever changing world of healthcare.
