To compare, Ohio's nursing law to define the nurse's scope of practice is a little different, but much the same. Nursing is defined as giving care to individuals that require the proper understanding, expertise, and judgement from all aspects of nursing sciences. This includes many actions from educating, assessing, and delegating. Utilizing skills learned and observing outcomes helps nurses contribute to the implementation of the nursing process (Ohio Board of Nursing, 2015, p.1).
