Lacking confidence is what makes us uncertain when making decisions. Our fears lead us to overanalyze the situation and thus draw conclusions that would probably never happen anyway. Indecisiveness will cause a bad decision. Questioning and overanalyzing the result not only delays the decision but affect the outcome. There is a lot to consider when making a decision. For the abused woman, how will leaving her husband affect her and her children? Can she provide for them on her own? Does she love him enough to stay? Does she love herself enough to leave? Of course if any of us had these types of choices to make we would have doubts. However even for the man buying a new rug will examine all his options and may result purchasing nothing because processing of making a decision was overbearing
