Metaphorically speaking, the body is like an outer shell, when that stops functioning that is considered as the first death. The second death is when your soul leaves the body until judgment day which will determine whether you go to heaven or hell. Heaven is view as a place of eternal life, full of joy, peace, pain-free, and environment. On the other hand, hell is views as eternal life endured in pain, misery, and separation from God. Reincarnation and karma are co-existent, good karma is generated by living a virtuous life and by applying the teachings of Buddha to your life. On the other hand, bad karma is caused by actions that are against the nature and teachings of Buddha. Buddhist believe Karma determine the fate of someone’s reincarnated life. The karmic process operates through a kind of natural moral law rather than through a system of divine judgment. One 's karma determines such matters as one 's species, beauty, intelligence, longevity, wealth, and social status.
