Riley and her Passion for Writing

Writing is a subject that I enjoy. I like to write because I can write down my thoughts and become creative with what i’m writing. I have written a lot in elementary school, but the writing I consider awesome and one of my favorite pieces was when I was in either 2nd or 3rd grade. It was a Cinderella story, but instead of humans it was animals. When I wake up in the morning i’m either thinking about horses or what I just dreamed about. With writing I can talk about horses I love or my dreams because sometimes I don’t want to forget my dreams.

Sometimes I will have to write about something I don’t want to write about. When I have to do that it makes writing non-fun for me and that makes me sad. Once when I was in elementary school, and I was done with my art work the art teacher told the class that we had to write an artist statement. We had to say that we

I realized that it does help when I can see something and/or here about a task that i'm supposed to do. I believe writing matters because we use it in everyday life. We will use writing to get a job or as a job. To get a job it sometimes requires a resume and writing a resume needs us to write. With writing it can help us communicate with others because writing makes us use words to write and knowing words we can read, write, and communicate. I feel like one of my weaknesses in life is talking a lot. I don’t talk much around people I am not familiar with but when I am around people I know well I won't stop talking. One of my strengths in life I would say is my horse riding skills. I ride horses a lot so I definitely gain some skills. I ride horses without a saddle over jumps and sometimes it is hard to stay on the horse but I can manage it. When I learn or get told about something it does help if I can see it but sometimes it helps if I just hear

The Real Writer, says that enjoying writing is more of an “agonistic” type of thing. This means that it is not something you are obsessed with, it’s a love-hate relationship. This is important because it emphasizes that people don’t usually LOVE writing, it is more of a fire that burns inside them. “I believe that I write because I am driven to do so—driven by a will to write (Allen 25).” Basically, writing is not some kind of “gift from the gods” or natural talent.…

I believe that strong communication skills can get you anything and anywhere. Communication is how we learn new things about one another. Without communication between people, nothing would get accomplished, and we would all be lost. Another one of my strengths was empathy. Dear Ms.Menard, I have always loved to read and write my passion from writing came from my love of books. My books had always sparked ideas in my head for my own stories. Writing has always been one of my favorite things to do, story ideas always seem to come to my mind, though I do still get stuck sometimes. When I get stuck I like to take a breather and read or go outside or do something that I get inspiration from. As for my trustworthiness there is not really a way that I prove that I am trustworthy to you on paper and we are supposed to be completely honest so I am not going to say that I have turned in every single homework assignment on time and that I have never lost anything that was important but I will say this, when I have a goal…

What does it mean to be passionate about something? Passion implies feelings and dedication. It means that you love to do something and you don't consider that spending your free time that way is overdoing it. In fact, you're so focused at what you're passionate about that you find a way to squeeze it in your schedule and you almost forget about the world around you while you're at it. To have a passion means to surrender, to offer yourself fully in order to accomplish that thing, to be hooked on the idea and offer complete devotion to it……

Growing up writing has always been an important part of my life and for that reason, some of my fondest memories of my childhood were when I would write with my father. He would teach me to write using different genres of writing and in doing so I became a proficient writer. I always enjoyed writing because it was the way that I could illustrate my creativity in words, the way for me to express my ideas, and the way for me to get lost in time doing something I enjoyed. My favorite form of writing was fiction. I was always a fan of writing fiction because I considered myself to be a creative person and my creativity was something I loved to show off in my work.…
