Today was the one year anniversary since the younger family had moved into the house. They had hoped for a dream to come true, but it was just the start of a nightmare. The community, which they had tried being nice to, was just shunning them and constantly rejecting and threatening them.The walls had been painted and the furniture had been replaced. However the house felt empty, as the occupants were rarely home. The outside of the house looked worn and not taken care of. The rooms were dirty from the lack of care, and even though the walls were fresh, there were spots of grease and dirt all over the house. All of a sudden the cries of baby could be heard from the room. Ruth jolted awake at the sound, and with an angry face stormed into the room. The baby was crying once again, and had taken the small amount of rest that Ruth had just tried to obtain. She picked up the weeping baby and started to feed him, but the baby didn’t want her milk as it tasted weird and was lacking in many nutrients. Ruth looked skinny worn down.
