Personal Narrative Essay: Tour Of The Middle School

Improved Essays
It was two weeks before school when my mom got a call that just made her faint for a second. She said that the principal Mr. Tushman called to ask if I would like to volunteer to give a tour of the middle school for a deformed kid. My mom was about to call Mr. Tushman to tell him I can’t but I stopped her. Hey, I want to know how this deformed kid looks like. Even Jack and Charlotte volunteered to do it so why can’t I. Mom was surprised when I said his. “Hey, you don’t have to do this he is deformed,” she said but I said I wanted to do anyway. Dad was surprised I said yes to this I mean what’s the big deal he’s just deformed. He might just have a mark on this face and probably his one ear is closed or whatever. It wouldn't be that bad right. I was thinking about it all night, about how this can be and how weird it can be, it will be a new experience. It …show more content…
I was really mad and punched him back and we got into a fight which possibly the whole school watched or even heard. I know that Jack was suspended for the one week before the winter break and I got sent home right after the fight. And my parents were really mad that they sent a letter to Mr. Tushman saying August should get kicked out of the school and Jack should be suspended. I have a black eye and bruises all over my face and I had to go to the doc to get my face fixed. If you saw me you would scream because I looked kinda like August with this face. The winter break was really boring and harsh. My parents photoshopped my school picture and took August out it because it was disturbing for visitors to see and it got really annoying when they asked about August and not me. After the winter break, I started being really mean to August and started annoying Jack for what he did to me. And somehow Mr.Tushman knows it and I was expected to bring my parents to talk to Mr.Tushman after school about my behavior in

This personal narrative is going to be about the first day of Middle School and my experiences as a 6th grader. It is going to go after my emotions and other descriptive details of the first day. I still remember how the seat belt felt tightening across my chest as the car got closer to the Middle School. During that time I knew nothing about being in a big school because the biggest school i've been in was yankee ridge. (Which is really small).…

At long last I have entered middle school as a 6th grader. The first thing on my mind was to join a sport with my friends. We all easily agreed on basketball, since it was the only one we knew how to play. I somehow ended up showing last for try outs. I didn’t let that get to me and I tried my best with my tutor watching me from the sidelines.…

These past three years have been the longest and the shortest of my life. The seemingly endless homework, long term assignments, and Wednesdays that felt more like Mondays made it seem like middle school would never end. Each individual day felt it took forever, but somehow, I feel like three years have been compressed into three weeks. I remember the first thing anyone said to me at Bigelow. “Welcome to Mr. Spiegels homebase, where people jump out from behind windows and hide under recycling bins”.…

Midway through delivering a lesson to my students, my classroom door flung open with a crash as though the Reckoning had come to collect my soul. In fact, in a non biblical sense, it had, but it wasn’t my soul on the line, it was my position as a teacher in the district. My principal, squatty and stout, with salt and pepper hair, and dark ink colored bags under his eyes stood in the doorway and raised his index and thumb at me in the same fashion small children make guns out of their hands and said, “We need to talk…now,” and then backed out of the doorway into the hallway. Quickly and nervously, I instructed my students of their task as I made my way to the back of the classroom and into the hall.…

I have never been so embarrassed before. We were in my seventh grade health class when our teacher told us that we are doing the FitnessGram Pacer Test. I blankly stared at him for a good minute then all of it fell upon me. My hearing was blocked, palms began to sweat, while unconsciously biting my nails and shaking my right leg. As my throat began to dry, adrenaline decided to take over my unsteady body.…

The letter arrived on a chilly Friday afternoon, towards the beginning of February. Remains of hard thick snow on the ground from the snowstorm a few days before.
