I found out in the previous days you can never have too much sunscreen when you are in Florida. I leaned on the bench and closed my eyes for what I thought was less than ten seconds. All of the sudden out of nowhere the whole boat shook! It felt like there was an earthquake. I screamed at the top of my lungs.
“Stay calm!” my Dad ordered.
My Mother and I went to the front of the boat to huddle together and stay close to one another for safty. “What is going on?” I asked my mom with the sound of panic in my voice.
She turned to me with the calm look she always had on her face and pushed my golden hair out of my face. She looked into my big blue eyes, the ones I had gotten from her, and replied with, “Everything is okay, don’t worry.” I was glad that my mom stayed calm in a situation like this. Around ten minutes later the same thing happened again! It felt like the boat was getting hit by a bomb, and I couldn’t control my panic.
