Or never even know about or could imagine. There are some many things people go without that I don't have to. I'm thankful that I have things that I have access to. But I'm also very hurt that all those other don't have that option. To think of my life as a comedy, I would have to say it isn't that either. To me that sounds like, life is a joke when its not. You are what you make out of life. My life has its ups and downs just like everyone else. I do not purposely go out into the world and try to messt hings up and ruin other people days. No matter how sure you are about the morality, someone else could view it differently.…

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

Hours and hours of extensive research and planning went into this moment in time. Dim lights from the hallway protruded into my bedroom, and an eerie silence echoed through the crevices of my house as I imprinted my head deep into my sweaty palms. Scrolling imperceptibly down the page of my Charles Schwab account, I found myself gliding the cursor over a large green button that displays the word “trade”. My heart pulsated violently as I clicked on the left side of my mouse and selected the buy option. It brought me to a remote and exotic new territory, like a sailor navigating uncharted waters, and opened a new page, with various options to select from.…

As I reflect on my personal life I value life itself to the point I live each day not knowing what to expect the next day. Positivity is a major factor in all that I do to the point of trying to view all things in a positive way and leaving the negativity out the door. As a mother, partner, educator, and entrepreneur I strive to be mindful, spiritual, and conscious of all my actions. I value these things because this is what makes up my life and what I live for each day. My life is a fourth generation person and I relate because I “want to live, love, learn, and leave it like a seed with balance and joy" (Covey, 73) the quality of my life is more important than planning it out.…
