Personal Narrative: My Volleyball Coach

Words are powerful, but actions are stronger. What one says and what one does are two completely different concepts in the shaping of a person. Words are easy, but actions are difficult. Lies, false hope, and deviances simply roll off the tongue, while taking action is sometimes strenuous and rigorous. Due to this truth, every kind of deed echoes the true colors of one’s person rather than the words that are so painless to say.
In the beginning, his words were pleasing, compelling, and amiable; however, behind closed doors, his actions were far from agreeable. My volleyball coach, Andre, drew everyone in like children to a newly-opened candy store with his empty promises of enjoyment and camaraderie. Throughout the season, the attitude changed
