The United States should legalize marijuana on the federal level. The legalization of marijuana could boost the economy in various ways. Marijuana also has many medical properties and industrial qualities that can help. The legalization of marijuana could also lower the criminal activity and war on drugs. It would also allow social security and welfare to increase funding for those needing the help. There are various economic reasons to legalize the use of marijuana. There would have to be farms for the marijuana to be grown and harvested, stores would have to be opened to sell it and the equipment necessary to consume it, and license would have to be issued to certified dealers.
