If you ask anyone what they think of Camaros their first thought will be to tell you how heavy they are and that they waste gas. However, GM has gone a whole new route when manufacturing this one. There hasn't been any concrete information yet but GM is promising that drivers will receive at least 30 miles to the gallon. That's a significant increase going by their reputation. An added boost is they are issuing out a four cylinder engine as well. So customers will have the option between a four cylinder, v-6, and classic v-8.
If you're coming from an engineering standpoint you might think that a lighter Camaro will be unstable but during manufacturing of the chassis they were able to place weight on pinpointed areas so that not only is the new Camaro stable but it's stiffer and easy to control.
All in all, we should definitely keep an eye out on dealerships for the 2016 Camaro. It will be well worth it.
