Everyday, over 65 million refugees sit and wait to be relocated to a new home, possibly in the United States (8 Ways to Solve the World Refugee Crisis). Families seeking a new home will stop at nothing to find shelter from the threats of their home country. Endangering themselves and their families by taking drastic measures to escape the chaos of a home they live in. The city of Fargo should continue bringing in refugees because the United States is a safe and open environment, it would saves thousands of lives, and refugees can increase the economy.
A refugee is a person who has decided to leave their country due to the fear of harassment based on race, religion, or their nationality (Administrative Offices). Many refugees come from Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan. These countries all have something in common; war. All of these countries are in an ongoing war, which threatens the citizens living there. In 2015, 134,000 refugees were transferred to countries like Sweden, Germany, and Canada with a chance to start over. With 10,000 refugee families admitted to the U.S., America cannot stop now (Ingersoll).

Once these refugees arrive in America, they receive a medical exam, a cultural orientation, help with your travel plans, and a loan for your travel to the United States.
