Dear, Barrack Obama,
My name is Jasmine Uribe and I live in El Paso Texas. As a concerned citizen of the United States of America, I am writing to you because I am concerned with the increase of violence. I am just asking if you will give this issue more attention. Every time I turn on the television to watch the news there is always some shocking and heartbreaking news of a shooting or a suicide. This needs to be taken more seriously before it gets more out of control.
I believe that all this violence comes from the drugs and alcohol, as well as children that grow up with bad influences and even bullies can have a negative impact of this issue. Parents should step up with disciple and teach their kids that with every bad action they take, there will be bad consequences. Children who are bullied can grow up harming people because of the way they were treated as they were growing up. Bullying should also be giving a higher consequence to reduce these issues form happening. I feel like there should be more research about bullying to prevent it from happening and help the bullies to feel better without them having to make someone else feel bad. If we are able to help them we can prevent them from harming other people when the bullies grow up and this will hopefully decreases the violence.
The reason why I am writing to you about this issue is because I want to know what your interest in this issue is and if you have any plans to fix this. I would like for this issue to be taken very serious in other to save lives by enforcing the rules and laws. This is an urgent and crucial in our society and they need to be fixed as soon as

Why Gun Violence Really Happens Violence is a huge part of everyone’s life today no matter what neighborhood you live in or what background you come from. All you have to do is just turn to your local or national media station, chances are that there will be something that shows up about some sort of shooting or crime. This constant showing of violence has made the general population desensitized to it. The question we are asking is why does so much gun violence happen? Although the news always tries to blame mental illness for shootings, they should be taking some of the blame as well because of how much they cover the events and how it could lead to copy-cat shooters.…

In the United States in more recent years there has been a lot of debate on gun control due to events like the most recent school shooting. Both sides, Democratic and Republican, have argued for and against two very radical solutions: increasing gun control to the point of taking away guns from everyone that is not military or police, and arming teachers across the country. While both of these solutions have their benefits and flaws, one very important aspect of the active shooter epidemic seems to be overlooked, and that is the mental state of these people that will eventually turn into active shooters. When looking at the mentality of these people, there are two parts of the issue that are rarely addressed when trying to find a solution,…

One problem that is ever evolving and continuously effects young adolescence in school is bullying. Bullying can be defined as an activity in which someone intentionally participates in either physically or emotionally harming a peer through any medium; such as words, actions, or technology. By applying this definition to the term bullying, it makes sense that almost every teenager in America can identify a time when they were bullied, when they bullied someone else, or a time when they saw a peer get harassed. And with an increase in technology use, minorities in school, and a growing LGBT group in the education system the problem is only going to get worse. There is a common misconception in the adult community as well as media that somehow…
