Greetings Mrs.Tschanz and today in my persuasive letter I am going to be trying to persuade you into changing to Solar Energy.

In my letter I will be going over ten ways why you should use Solar Energy, the money that Solar energy saves you, how solar energy helps the environment and how it benefits you.

The ten reasons why you should use solar energy include:1. Solar is good for the environment.2. Solar is a good investment.3. Solar energy is durable.4. Solar makes you money. 5. Solar can help you afford a home approvement.6. Solar has a fixed cost.7. Solar can get you ahead of the curve8. Solar can be used all day.9. Solar energy is cool.10. Solar energy has it so you can’t keep the money. The reason why solar is good for the environment because there is nothing harmful about it. Also it does not release any substances which means it’s safe. According to https://1stlightenergy.com/10-reasons-to-go-solar/ “It’s fair to say that many of the home improvements that you will make won’t add quite the equal value to your house as the money that you put into them. Solar energy, on the other hand, will save you money from your energy bill each month,” which means that solar is a good investment. Solar energy is durable because solar energy systems have no moving parts and cant be damaged very easily. Next soar energy can make you money because instead of paying for your energy bill monthly you just have to pay a one time fee for your solar energy system. A solar energy system is a home improvement because it is an opportunity to help you in the future when it comes to saving money. Not only is a energy system modern technology but it will save you about $500 a month for electricity that you can use to buy stuff

The United States depends on a finite resource: fossil fuels. Easily accessible deposits of fossil fuels are dwindling, prompting stakeholders on both sides of the aisle to innovate and present options that either prolong the usage of our current energy sources, or harness renewable resources to reduce atmospheric greenhouse gases. Firmly backed by the President of the United States and top research institutions, solar energy, specifically converting light energy into liquid fuels, warrants discussion. However, solar breakthroughs generate questions, such as how a solar-powered country would operate while the sun is obscured or how cost-effective it would be to route solar derived power from ideal locations on the west coast to the less optimal…

Can Alternative Energy Ever Replace Fossil Fuels? Climate change and increasing levels of greenhouse gases have become an ever growing problem in the world today. There are many effects of climate change that have been documented from the latter part of the twentieth century until now. This significant change is due to the introduction of industrialization in society and how it has changed the equilibrium of the atmosphere by drastically increasing levels of CO2, a gas emitted from burning fossil fuels. We depend on fossil fuels for electricity and transportation.…

By moving to solar from fossil fuel, individuals can help reduce the carbon emissions, promote local control of energy consumption, and decrease electric power consumption. Not only that, there are incentives for people who convert to solar energy as well. The biggest incentive may be the federal tax credit, which is a 30% tax credit and is available for residential and commercial installations for solar power (Oregon Department Of Energy). Another huge incentive that needs to be mention is the PACE program. The program lends money to homeowners for a solar system.…
