It 's funny how relationships work, right?
I mean, just think about it for a minute. There are over 7 billion people on this planet, yet somehow we can look at someone and it 's just like, "Wow, I like that human being. My atoms are attracted to their atoms and I want them for myself."
Well, maybe it is a bit more complicated than that. Take it from a guy who has spent much of his teen years in countless relationships. & one long term one to say the least. Honestly, the thought of another one is mentally exhausting. I am mentally exhausted. You may think that a relationship is supposed to be the opposite. Yes, …show more content…
You were in pain. You were having these dreams, these nightmares. You were tired. You were tired of being tired. You wanted it to stop, everything. You just wanted someone to be your beginning and your end. Someone who looks up the world to you. Someone who treats you good. Someone who wouldn 't leave your side. Someone that will protect you, make you feel loved, wanted, and ALIVE. & you get what you waned, finally. That is why you go for it, isn’t it? But in the end, even after all of that, there is still something missing. It 's nothing that 's wrong with them, but something.. something is still missing.. It isn’t who you want it to be, it isn 't how you pictured it, something just feels.. off. You settled. Not saying that it was a mistake, but you were so focused on these things that you didn’t take the time to stop, think, and breathe. Breathe. And that’s when it hits. You don 't need to settle. You don’t need to rely on someone to be your happiness. You need to stop looking for happiness within someone else and find it in the precious little things that are here in life. To enjoy life itself and say you have the ability to persevere as one. As yourself. Me, myself, and I. To say you can find that happiness yourself without feeling like someone has to provide it for you. Yes, one day someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it didn 't work out with anyone else, but stop waiting. Life isn 't about waiting for the storm to pass, life is about learning to dance in the rain. Life isn’t just about finding someone to share it with, it is about learning how you take people and events in your life as either a blessing or a lesson learned. Life isn’t about finding yourself, create yourself. Happiness in life shouldn 't be provided for you. Life is such a beautiful thing that should no longer be taken for granted or seen as something you’ll only get the most out of with someone else. You are strong. You are powerful. You are courageous.
