Compare and contrast a Play and Night The play version of The Diary of Anne Frank tells the story of a teen girl and her family going into hiding during the Holocaust. In this play it tells about where she and her family are hiding ,and different problems she has to face ,that mostly involve trying not to get caught by the Germans. While on the other hand, the book Night tells about a teen boy who is in going through different concentration camps ,who is trying to survive with his father. In Night the teen boy ,who’s name is Eli goes through series of conflicts trying to survive and not get shot by the Germans. In the play Anne has a good relationship with her father and her father takes care of her. Anne has a choice to get help from her mother ,but she always goes to her father. While on the other hand, Elie takes care of his father and his father needs him. Elie only has his father because his mother was taken away from him ,which he doesn’t have a choice to get help from his mother. The play version and Night both have a father child relationship. The play version and Night the same time period. In the play version. They both are trying to survive the holocaust during January 30, 1933. Also, they're both going through day and night. The time period is the same because that is when the Holocaust started. This represents that they have the same time period. The Holocaust is still being read to this day.
