A poor person is one who can’t afford life necessities such as three meals a day, proper clothing, and sometimes not even a shelter. With that being said, medicine is just out of the question because it’s unaffordable and unavailable for them. One of the most challenging topics regarding the access of medications is the need for health cards to reduce the cost; however, such documents are so difficult to issue without employment, impossible to keep in a safe place, and hard to understand how it works for most illiterate people. Moreover, with the condition of improper homes infections and diseases will naturally spread widely amongst poor neighborhoods and areas. Therefore, fighting for stable health is a lot harder for poor people who can’t stabilize their surroundings to cleaner, more hygienic homes. That coupled with the fact that healthy and nutritious food are getting more and more expensive which is definitely increasing the obstacles for poverty sufferers to maintain a good health condition as the simple essentials of crucial vaccinations and healthy food products are needed and are quite expensive and out of reach for some people to afford.
