Today I would like to talk to you all about what I believe in racial profiling. Racial profiling usually occurs in police officers and some people on the streets. For those who don’t know what racial profiling is, it is the consideration of race by an officer of law in deciding when and how to intervene in an enforcement capacity, wrong but that is how most officers operate as of today.
As Americans, we must take action against Racial Profiling because of the hate crimes and execution of innocent people. The Encyclopedia stated that “African Americans are several times likelier to be arrested and incarcerated, than white Americans.” Did you know that also during their arresting some are beaten or shot to death, while the remaining half are probably even lucky to even survive? Believe it or not, it is dead wrong for any man of the law to cause harm to any innocent human being. How many of you have woken up to see an innocent person's face splatter all over the news? ... Your first time seeing it, your blood probably boils with animosity due to the fact that a guilty man is walking away free instead of being locked up and rotting away in jail. According to Washington’s Post, so far this year 24 unarmed black men have been shot and killed by a police officer. Their only excuse was “he was black and looks suspicious”. Nothing in the world is more dangerous than stupidity and ignorance and that statement was beyond both. The very most common racial profiling you will ever hear about and see is when a police officer quickly stops someone, questions them and searches them. During this search and seizure they have this mentality that even though they can’t find anything suspicious you are still guilty and should be dealt with. We believe that the men of law are the ones to protect us, but deep down we know that they really are the ones to hurt us in the
