For why should my liberty be subject to the judgment of someone else’s … I partake with thankfulness… why should I be denounced…” (1 Cor. 10.29-30) because Christ is not separate from them on the body; he brings into light what they ought to do in maintaining the structure of community. The body is the structure that all individuals fall under, and so reconciliation occurs in light of their choices when they put the other before themselves under the “logos” of God; choosing the better option allows them to be people worthy of boasting.
