Throughout the semester, I found myself actually enjoying classical music and the progressions that come with it. I find meditative elements in it and it often times allows me to relax and focus on things. There were many pieces that I was drawn to, but there were only a few that changed my perception of progression and synchronization. It was actually the last show that I did, and in my opinion, was a fitting culmination of all my newfound knowledge. The show was the Graduate String Cortet, and it was inside of Glidden. I have of course enjoyed some classical music in my life but never to a point where I wanted to be involved with it. The meditative aspect really opened my eyes to the art and allowed me, as a producer, in my career to take notes from it. I actually took away some pointers, not only in the progression and the energy of each movement, but the will power for perfection in performance. I strive to be an electronic performer in my personal life, so to see something like this from people not too much older gave me motivation. That, in my opinion, is the definition of not just a transformational experience, but also a worthwhile
