The definition of racism means “the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races”. Many people want to say that after the civil rights movement all racism ended. That is far from the truth. Racism still persists in everyday life, the music industry, and the workplace. It is a constant evil that is taught and learned. No one is born racist.

To say that an armed police officer that has been trained to killed should fear a scared suspect is absolutely ridiculous. Local police have been militarized to be trained to kill. But apparently haven’t been trained on how to treat another human being with compassion. After the attacks on the World Trade Center, America has upped their concern on terrorist attacks but this in turn has led to some very serious racial profiling. People of Middle Eastern heritage and even Indians have suffered verbal, physical, and emotional abuse for nothing. The idea that all Middle Eastern people are terrorists has come up with propaganda by the United States and other Western nations “labeling” most Middle Eastern as “suspicious” and a danger to national security.
Films that could be labeled propaganda would be a recent film titled American Sniper. The film is about a real life American Sniper called Chris Kyle. The movie shows the life a monstrous soldier who boasts about his kills, deluding himself to the point where he forgot he was killing human beings.
