Do you believe in the ability for teens to feel true love? No? Well, what about marriages that are the result of high school relationships? My parents met in highschool and have been married for 19 years. So if you think about it, it is possible that Romeo and Juliet truly did love each other. A lot of people say teens cannot experience true love but that's just not true at all. If teenagers can love their parents then why can't they love someone they connect with. Teenagers are at a state of maturity so it's definitely possible they would feel love.
And you could say ¨No, teens make bad decisions¨ but so do adult marriages. It is possible for teenagers to be in love because they have been shown love, some teenagers possess high maturity levels, and they have a sense of responsibility.

Throughout the years of their life, they experience the love they have for their parents, family, or other figures in their lives. Although this may not be a romantic form of love, it is still a positive influence on their ability to love others. In the shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet, Juliet has a love for the nurse at her young age of 14, while the nurse is not her mother but Juliet sees her as a mother figure she loves (Act I scene 3).So if teens have love for figures that aren't even their parents why not have love for someone else.

The next thing to think about is teens maturity level, yeah there are some stupid teens who make dumb decisions but what about the one who can make better decisions than some adults who've been married multiple times couldn't you say the same thing about adults? There are teens who drive and take care of little siblings or do things around the house for parents who might be at work or gone for some time. So if they are mature enough to watch over kids and are subjected to adult tasks then surely they can feel
