In the book, “Fences’ by August Wilson, Rose was the most dynamic character of all. Her character has a wonderful strength as well as courage. In the book, Rose changed a lot from being an obedient, typical housewife to a strong willed independent woman and a mother. She did indeed had to make some difficult decisions, which also affected the development of her character and I absolutely understand them as well as agree with them. Rose made some choices at the climax of the story, which includes her agreeing to take care of Raynell (the baby of Troy and his affair) and staying with Troy even after knowing about his affair with another woman. However, she made the choice to be disconnected with Troy both physically and emotionally. I agree
