Before reading your team’s presentation, I was not familiar the term “bariatric”. I thought it was a health condition, rather than a collection of weight loss procedures. Reading more into your team’s presentation, I realized that the medical procedure is the proper name of weight loss surgeries -- gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, or gastric band surgeries. It is good that your team displayed the nutrition for patients who undergo this type of procedure. Because I thought that they eat healthier meals (like solid or soft foods) but it would be portioned into smaller meals. I didn’t know that they will have to be on complete fluids until their surgery and few days following their surgery.
