Night Fever To start this off I want to say I choose and did this song before I started thinking about the song in psychology terms. I choose this song because I really like it and every other song that has played has been either really depressing or a song that no one has ever heard of before. This song makes me want to get up and dance even though I am awful at dancing. I think it would be really cool to experience a club like the one in the movie Saturday Night Fever because now a days clubs play loud techno music and not cool disco music. One approach of psychology I can relate to this song is social psychology. I know it doesn't show a lot of social psychology but if you put yourself in the mid 70’s this is what the teenagers were doing.

The humanistic approach is about how humans need each other and we need to support each other. This singer wants this “city girl” come with him for the night so she can support him. This approach is also about how the human brain perceive and interpret events. In the song the singer sings how he is “prayin for this moment to last” because he interprets the disco as really fun and amazing. Fun fact the humanistic approach was actually created around the 1970’s and 80’s which happens to be the same time disco was huge.
