Science Trip Monologue

Superior Essays
I woke up feeling ashamed and angry on the day of the science fieldtrip. Feeling ashamed and angry, I quickly put on my shirt and headed to the bus. During this time, I became more and more embarrassed. The constant thought of embarrassment caused me to forget a change of clothes and I panicked! The science trip was first period and I couldn’t handle these emotions inside much longer. I kept thinking about the outfit I had on. Why did I wear this? I thought to myself over and over. Once the bus arrived I slowly walked on the bus. Everyone was staring at me, they laughed some even tried to hold it in but they couldn’t so they laughed with the rest. I didn’t know how long I can take this scrutiny. People who were attending the same field …show more content…
The librarian kept telling us to be quiet and watched us like a Hawk. She hated how we laughed the whole period. She even wrote us up and we all marched down to the Principals office. When we arrived to see the principle he couldn’t stop laughing at what I was wearing. He even took a picture of me to send to his wife and children. Of course I allowed him because I didn’t want to get in trouble and most importantly I wanted this day to end. We didn’t get in trouble and returned to last period. My last period class was study hall which is a time where you could study and do homework. But on that day I didn’t do any of those things, I walked around the school trying to run away from embarrassment. It worked, I managed to stay away from the people who I knew. And when the bell went off I sprinted to the buses and went home without anyone laughing at me. As that day ended, I had enough embarrassment that would make you go crazy. But I stood my ground and took it like a champ. Even though this was the most embarrassing day because of an outfit I wore I look back to this and laugh. Knowingly that I can know laugh and joke around about it. This day will forever be remembered not just by me but for the whole school. Thankfully I wasn’t bullied in this situation, everything was done in a jokingly way. I would never be picked unless it was joke. Wearing something embarrassing is the worst feeling in the world. That day of the field trip was very embarrassing but it was also one of the funniest days and is a memory to always

Literacy Narrative What is Literacy?Google defines literacy as “the ability to read and write.” Literacy plays a major role in our everyday lives, writing our essays that are due within two days, writing a post on facebook, reading a text message, etc. Everyone experiences literacy in a different way, some experience a struggle, not being able to comprehend the purpose of literacy or avoiding it. and others thrive in it. My experience was somewhat neutral due to the fact that as a child I loathed reading and writing, but as I went on through my education I grew to love it.…

Pacing walking over to my locker, my music was blasting. Happily, I recall listening to one of my favorite songs, and I found myself strutting throughout the hallway. Quickly stopping I started laughing at myself, as I slowed my walking down to a slower pace. Finally, I had concluded to smile, yet I was elated inside. The surface of my face was emotionless, as my eyes drifted past my locker outside through the back door.…

Starting first grade I thought we were the top dogs because we got moved down to the bigger playground with the bigger kids. Since they knew we liked kick ball so much they built a kick ball diamond for us. There was just so much to do in the shortest amount of time. Everyday was a new day, I never did the same thing, whether it was playing on the upper part on the monkey bars seeing who could hang the longest or playing football with the guys. I can remember my first year at kickball I was taller than most of the guys because they haven’t hit their growth spurt yet, so everyone wanted me on their team because I was the only girl once again that was better than most of the guys.…

I was lonely as hell wandering those streets. I was so goddamn drunk; I would have talked to the wall. The nerve of that bastard, Luce, he probably didn’t even have anything to attend, leaving me alone on these streets. I was so desolate and laced, when this shady looking creep asked if I wanted to try this new “machine”; I didn’t even hesitate. Hell, he even offered to give me some dough for me to jump in it…

It was like any other school day, coming back from lunch, sitting in class, and talking to friends; however, it all changed once I arrived in my American Studies class. Mrs. Forbs was standing in front of the class waiting for everyone to quiet down. The class was a bunch of sixth graders, so it took a while to make us be silent. The day felt weird for me, I had my same robotic schedule but for some reason something didn’t feel right. I thought it had something to do with the food I ate for lunch, I would be prepared to head down to the bathroom or even nurse if that was the case; however, what happened that day no sixth grader would be able to prepare for.…

Joining a militia was one of the top things I never thought I’d do, and becoming Special Forces in that militia never made the list. Just when I thought I’d finally fallen asleep. The blazing light that fought to turn the milky white of my eyes to a black crispy crime. I raised my tingling hand that throbbed and as I gripped that white string and let my hand fall I returned to the cool dark. As I thought I had finally restored peace to the land a howling echo rang throughout the kingdom, and only then did I realize it was time to raise my aching body from its eternal slumber.…

I must say it was really difficult knowing that we had those two big major tests in the same week. The amount of studying was ridiculous but in my head for a whole two months I was reminding myself that it will benefit me in the future that I need this to graduate. One part I didn 't have to worry was a portion of the MCA like the Algebra part. But the part that was extremely hard for me was geometry.…
