Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks and by delivering quality care in a timely manner.
Action Plan: My plan in continuing to uphold this skill is to effectively prioritize task by allowing enough time to plan my day before shift start. Continue to completing urgent task first will decrease stress and anxiety promoting healthy mental state. I will consider how much time it takes to complete each task, giving tasks that are not as time consuming priority. I will consider the client preference when managing task.
2. Implementing the Nursing Process
Provide quality care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating plan of care specific to the needs of the client.
Action Plan: I plan to uphold this strength by providing thorough assessments in order to determine clients need. Applying appropriate nursing diagnosis pertinent to the client’s condition. Accurately identifying goals and interventions that are appropriate for the client. Safely implementing the plan of care specific to the client’s needs. Continue to measure client outcome by providing continuous evaluations to assess completion of goals.

Action Plan: I will uphold this strength throughout my nursing career by listening to the client addressing all concerns that the client may have. I will provide emotional support and encouragement if needed. I will continue to be an advocate for clients’ rights and show empathy when appropriate.
