The main opportunity that the academies offer me is the premier training to become an officer in the United States military. The sole purpose of the Academies is to train and prepare cadets to become officers in the military; that is the main reason why I want to attend the Academies. I wish to serve in the military for a career. As such, I want to charge headfirst into a military career by becoming fully prepared as both a moral person and a ready-to-take-charge officer. The Academies would be the premier institution to prepare me for the nerve-racking yet exciting task of serving as a military officer. In conclusion, my interest in the Academies grew exponentially when I visited the Air Force Academy in the June of 2015.
