Seventh Grade Essay

The end of summer before seventh grade started I was kind of nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. Some of the things that I did expect were that the teachers would be more strict and that the work would be more challenging than in sixth. Throughout the year I was able to get to know the teachers and learn that most were very nice and that I had nothing to worry about. The work was a little more challenging than in sixth but it’s supposed to be. One of the highlights of my seventh grade school year is that I played basketball. At the beginning of seventh grade I was able to play school basketball. I had an awesome time playing basketball and sharing the experience with my friends. I am kind of sad that basketball ended but we had a good season. Although I liked …show more content…
One of the teachers that I am hoping to have is Mrs. Freiley. Another teacher that I would like to have is Mr. Mathias. The reason that I would like to have them as teachers is because I think that they seem very nice, fun and be a great teacher.
I am excited to see how next year will go. I can’t wait to go back to Springfield again for another field trip. Last was very fun in Springfield and I think that it will be more fun this upcoming year in 8th grade. I know that Outward Ingersoll isn’t until the end of the year but I am very excited to be able to experience it with my friends. I think that it will be very fun and everyone will have a great time. Outward Ingersoll is about teamwork and working together in some events. I can not wait to see how it will go next year.
All in all I would say that my 7th grade year went really well for the most part. I have had a great year and loved most of the teachers. I am sad that this year is almost over but also glad that I will be moving forward. This year was very fun and exciting. I hope next year will be just great as this

This year has been a crazy one. I came from a public school, not knowing anyone, so I terrified and didn't know what to expect. I struggled with trusting others, time management and battling multiple tasks at once. Luckily, I had a lot of practice throughout the year. Imagine being in 6th grade, and having someone come to talk to your entire sixth grade student body about middle school sports. During a question and answer session I asked if it was possible to run cross country and play basketball, and in a loud voice that went across the gym, a kid said “Why ask you’re too fat to play sports” and the whole gym burst into laughter. This is how my introduction to middle school officially began. As one could imagine the pain and humiliation that went along with my torture, but because I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder my problems were exemplified. I spent the next few weeks listening to everyone talk about me, repeat the story and laugh.…

Hello there 7th grader, here are a few words of wisdom. Listen and respect your teachers or else you will get more homework and there is a slight possibility they might lower your grade. Try not to talk so much in class because there have been many cases of class detention and nobody wants that. When a teacher tells you to put something away or stop doing to something, you should listen because you are doing yourself a favor. If you are going to chew gum in class just be ready to spit it right out because the teachers know when you are chewing gum or not.…

Year 7 was hard, moving from a small primary school with just over 100 students to a secondary with close to 17 000 was a massive step. It was probably made even harder by the fact that that summer I had just gotten my hearing aids and was not used to being able to hear my own footsteps for the wind. I was bullied but now I question the intelligence of them as they would sometimes whisper behind my back and if I took my aids out, hay presto I could not hear them anymore, yay. In lessons, apart from the occasional few, I sat in the front, which was nice as it meant I could hear what they were trying to…
