How fair can it get for girls to play on boys sport teams. Maybe because it’s not a law, everyone can play, so many other girls are playing on the same team as boys. It was never a law that girls have to play the “girl sports,” boys play the “boy sports.” In the article Should Girls be Allowed to Play on Boy’s Sport Teams? They stated that if the best of the best WNBA team goes against the worst NBA team, that the NBA team would crush the best WNBA team.…

Women Playing in the NBA Basketball is an extremely popular sport that is played worldwide. The game consists of different leagues like the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The different leagues were created based on the players' age group and gender. There is a populated belief that women should be allowed to play in the NBA. It is my opinion that women should not be allowed to play in the NBA: Women's bodies are built differently than men's bodies; there is already a league made specifically for women; and it might give the other team an unfair advantage/disadvantage in the games.…

Title IX has had an extremely influential impact on women athletics throughout the world. When Title IX was added to the education amendment in 1972, gender equality within the education and sports worlds slowly began to change. From Elementary school through College, Title IX requires that “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance” (Department of Justice). The last 44 years have held an extremely important role in women athletics, but women participating in sports started well before 1972; and because of that when the amendment finally came into play,…

In sport today I believe women are treated in an unfair way to their male counterparts. Sport is controlled by the media in this century and women are looked at as sexual objects rather than for their talent like men are. The women are also then expected to wear skimpy clothing not because it’s better for the sport but because of marketing. Professional female athletes are seen as inferior to their male counterparts and therefore don’t get as much media coverage. Women athletes play the exact same games, train equally as hard, yet are still getting paid a large amount less than men.…

Although some people are not for coed sports, I am. Girls are just as capable of doing boys sports. My opinion is that the best teams should have the best players whether they are a girl or boys. Like in soccer, a girl might be really fast and a boy might have really good distribution, put them together and they could possible make a goal.…

Should Sports Discriminate On Gender Or Race ? I think sports should not discriminate on gender. don't think girls should be excluded from any sport because it's just wrong. Girls can do anything boys can do even if it's a difficult sport. Of course in sports there are many injuries that are possible and girls know that, they know that they can get hurt and if they're really committed they should still be able to play. Sports isn't about the gender it's about the talent.…

Lets go back to the ancient Greek times, what happened then with women in sports? There are many theories as to why women could not play sporting event during ancient Greece and most of them have to do with common sense. For example it took about ten months for an athlete to train and a woman probably did not have time for that. Women were also treated as second class people like slaves. Being defeated by a woman would have been bad and the male athlete would be looked down upon and of course they could not have that.…

The sport all together is the same. Everyone plays by the same rules and restrictions, but there’s just too much of a difference between the genders in sports. Men and women have different playing styles and they do not mix well. They have been separated for a very long time and they should remain that way for many of the reasons that I have listed above. There will always be women that can beat men in their respected sports and vise versa, but the game is setup the way it should remain for women to play competitive against women and men to play against other…

Females should undoubtedly be allowed to play on male sports’ teams. In this world of inequality there are few things we can do to alleviate that. For example, allowing females to play on male sports’ teams would be a great step. This has already been happening around the world, but it’s been causing controversy due to their, the girls, physicality and how fair it is then for the boys in return. If we don’t allow women to play then we can never truly be an equal and free nation.…

Should girls and boys play on the same sports team? I feel girls and boys should not be allowed to play on the same sports team. Coed sports teams present a number of challenges for the kids and coaches alike, and those should be seriously considered before merging male and female athletes onto the same team. First of all, sports are divided into many categories besides gender for example height, weight and skill level. Boys are taller and stronger than girls which can give them an advantage to playing on the same team, whereas if the girls are on a girl team with the same skilled leveled girls they will do better.…

Schools even with the passing of Title IX have found ways to sneak around the rules and still have gender inequality. Many females who try to participate in male dominate sports are often bullied and treated badly. Along with men who try to participate in female dominate sports. 3rd Rheese Songer Argumititive sample writing I think that schools should not be integrating boys and girls teams for many reasons. One of the reasons that I think that boys and girls teams should not be integrated because of injury. It is common knowledge that in most cases men are physically stronger and heavier than women and this may cause a lot more injuries to women for example let's say a girl decides to play tackle football on an integrated team, she has a lot more of a chance of getting hurt because of how rough the guys are and if she got tackled the men's body weight is more than women's so it would increase the likelihood of the woman being seriously injured.…
